Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.heehee- There is no 'set limit' to the number of TV's you can use in a system. The limiting factors are long cable runs and splitters. Preamps (And all amps) are designed to take the 'good usable signals' from the antenna and amplify them to a level where, while going through your cables and splitters, the signals will not deteriorate to a point where they are no longer 'good usable signals'. If the signal has already deteriorated to a point where they are no longer 'good usable signals', then amplification cannot fix your signal. You really need to start at the antenna and see what channels you can receive. Then connect your system/TV's. If you cannot get the same channels on the TV's, then you would introduce a Preamp, (up at your antenna) to your system, and test again. If you have a large system, you may even benefit from a Distribution amp. But, you cannot predict the outcome. You normally need to install the system in order to actually 'know' what your results will be.
