- Answer This grill is propane, like most grills. If you look up the info on google you can find the manual: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/user-manuals/463436214-CHAR-BROIL-GAS+GRILL-manual Not sure where the other guy got Natural gas from, probably a internet troll.
