• My first fitbit charger also broke and was replaced with the 2 pronged one. it seems to connect better and is a little stronger than the original. I no longer have to fight to get a connection.

• Yes, the two bit charger will charge your Fitbit. I replaced mine with a two prong charger and it works perfectly.
