Yes, I put my bags and sugar right in the pot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is perfectly proper to sweeten the pot, provided you are the only one drinking from that teapot. If the teapot is shared by others at your table then it would be inconsiderate as someone else may not use any sweetener or possibly like a different amount of sweetness. So simply put, if everyone has their own individual teapot, they prepare it as they see fit. This applies to type of sweetener, lemon or milk, a sprig of mint, etc. Enjoying tea should be a relaxing part of your day....we don't want to add any stress! Now go put the kettle on and enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use my tea bags in it Everytime I make tea!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can use tea bags and add sugar before brewing. I use 3 tea bags.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would only boil water in this kettle. Put tea bags into a teapot as they need to steep in order to brew correctly. Add sugar to your cup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sure you can, but I would not do it b/c it can stain the glass and make it harder to clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't recommend that. Keeping the pot clean makes more sense than gunking it up with tea stains and sugar. I just use a tea pot or even a big glass measuring cup works fine and you don't risk breaking your nice pot.
