A:Answer I actually bought the egg cooker as a gift for family members, so I contacted one of them to see about this, and she said that the instructions say, "When eggs are done, an alarm will sound. Press the Power Button to turn off the Egg Cooker & stop the alarm."
She then cooked some eggs and left it going after the buzzer went off, and the cooker stayed on (it did NOT auto-shutoff), but, the alarm kept going off also, fairly loudly, so it will let you know when it is done and to turn it off. I know it cooks with the water you put in the bottom of it, and the alarm sounds when that water runs out, so maybe it just stays hot, but doesn't really cook as much since there is no steam (water) left.
