• My display goes off after a few minutes when done cooking, but I also unplug it when I'm done in the kitchen.

• There is an off on the left hand side. It will be red when it is on.... meaning you don't see the off button until it is heating.

• Just unplug it to shut it off. Saves on residual electricity
