• Because you don’t have the basket holder in the correct way line it up in the back it’s two slits that wiki connect the light to come on and turn your timer up

• plug unit in. Turn on timer to the max time. green light should come on. set temp. When the fryer hits your temp. light will go off. power light will stay on. I have never used reset button.
