I use the Circle app for Circle Family. It's free with the device. I am able to control any device on our WiFi. I highly recommend The Circle. It's a life changer and no more battles!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think the $5/month is for monitoring of internet activity when you are not on the home WiFi network. I believe you can still set internet access times on your home wifi for certain devices without the $5/month

Please try again later.There is no subscription cost for the features associated with this device, but the internet is only blocked on the devices you have when they are connected and utilizing your home network. Circle also provides another service that you can pay per device (for Kids cell phones) that will provide similar features on any network or LTE/Cellular networks for a monthly fee.

Please try again later.You have to pay $4.99 a month for the service of Circle, I had the smaller cube but had to return it because it was not compatible with my router but prior to that I had the whole house WiFi by Orbi that came with Circle built into it so that is how I know u have to pay for the service. I recently returned the whole WiFi so no longer have the Circke and I must say I miss having it ALOT, it’s a god send and u can have control over the use of the internet at the tip of your fingers from anywhere by your phone. Soon I will be getting it back. If I ever called my kids for something and they were home and didn’t answer I would turn the WiFi off and they would call me within seconds saying why did u turn the WiFi off? Stop doing that. And I would say well then answer your phone! U can control what apps they use too. It has so many wonderful features us parents really NEED!

Of course it does not cover devices one they leave the protected home wi-fi...unless you purchase circle “go” which does require a monthly subscription. Otherwise for home, this purchase is it! Hope that helps.
