- Answer Yes you can program the phone so all she will have to do is press the picture and it calls the number you have programed. The red light does light up when the phone is ringing. My mom is 94 and loves it. with her old phone she couldn't hear anyone and now she hears everything!!!!! I would buy it again without hesitation.

Questionhow does the hearing aid option work on this phone?My mother is hard of hearing and unable to hear us speak on the phone. She wears a hearing aid but still unable to hear the conversation clearly as to what we are saying. Will this phone be able to clarify the words so she can hear us on the phone?

QuestionMy father is in a nursing home. Can you decrease the volume of the ringer to avoid disturbing other? Will decreasing the volume of the ringer affect the higher volume for the phone when people call him?
