ErnestT, Thank you for your question! First, we don't use any proprietary parts in any of our CLX SET systems, so modifying the configuration over time, is easy, if desired. Please note that doing so will *not* void either the warranty or the Free Lifetime Technical Support that we at CLX provide. As to this particular configuration, it is currently shipping with an ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4/ac motherboard.
