• Wonder why they ship batteries that are not rechargeable with a radio that can recharge it's batteries if it has the right batteries?

• The batteries that came with these radios are alkaline batteries and not rechargeable. If you replace with rechargeable batteries you can charge in the radio with any micro USB charging cable.
