“How do these work on a large ski mountain ? I know the distance max will be affected but the last pair we had from a different company worked poorly on the slopes . Thanks”

the set i used worked well on the last 2 camping trips to Yosemite. Distance was roughly 3 to 5miles. Where cellphones didn't work at all or only in the open away from trees & hillsides.
