You can't use this radio or any radio, etc. That is rated for 12 volts on a 24 volt system. You will immediately destroy your radio. There's voltage dropping devices that will allow you to use the lesser voltage devices. DO NOT CONNECT DIRECTLY TO A 24 VOLT POWER SOURCE. 73s de KA4CTD. Andy.
