What type of power cord comes with this detector? Can I get a cord with the on/off button on the cord itself?

comes with 12 volt power outlet (cigarette lighter) adapter.
a direct wired power cord is available from "cobra"

no it does not come with a on and off option,you just unplug it and that's it.

My detector does NOT have an OFF-ON option on the cord, only on the device itself.

I have not seen a cord like that before it has an on off switch on the product itself. It plugs right into the side of the product and right into the power supply.

It's a coiled cord. Can purchase another cord with the mute option
