“Hardwired, when my car wakes up, the camera comes on, then when I start my vehicle, it goes off and on again. THEN, it seems as tho when it’s been in the sun, it comes on when I start the car but then turns off until manually powered on..anyone else?”

Had mine hardwired by Bestbuy to my Cadilac XT5 It does that also powers on when I start my car, stays on when I turn off my car and goes off when I open the door. When I have time I will trace where they hardwired it to see if there is power on all the time. Not sure if has a sleep mode of some sort and records when it feels a movement of the car.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure what you mean by hardwired, but mine is connected to the 12 volt inside the center console. I have also had this happen to me twice before. Car turns on but dashcam doesn’t. I have to press the little button on the side and then it turns on. I hope this doesn’t happen too often anymore. Especially for such an expensive unit.
