“Does this work with pressing the lock button 3 times on the factory key fob? I had an old Compustar product that worked that way, but it seems to be discontinued. I'd rather have that functionality than need a second fob on my key ring.”

i have a 2016 toyota camry and just had this installed. it does turn my car on if i hit the lock button 3 times on the car's key fob.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this item installed to be able to warm the car before going out in our cold temps. From my house I hit the lock button twice on the Compustar remote then the start button. I still carry the original remote to the car in the bottom of my purse as I haven’t had this device long enough to completely trust it to work as it should. However, it works well so far. Hope this answers your question.
