• Could it be done? Probably. Would you want to pay to have the old one removed (one charge) and, again, pay to have it installed in the new vehicle (charge two) only to have a used Remote Car Starter in your newer vehicle? Probably not. It would be cheaper to buy a new one and have it installed free with Best Buy Total Tech. Removal & installation of a remote starter would likely cost more than it would be worth—literally.
