I think you could, but would have to check with Best Buy to be sure. BUT, why not get it installed now so that they could use it as soon as the weather gets cold. Trust me, the value does not fade and "saving" it might backlash and the recipient will wonder why didn't I get this sooner? Just a thought. Get a full winter's credit. Install it sooner, don't wait.
