I see where some reviewers said remote cannot be installed on manual autos. Best Buy installed Compustar on my manual 5 speed CRV several years ago. It required purchase of a special lockout module in addition to the Compustar remote kit. This module cost about $150.00 and prevents remote activation if car is left in gear. Mine still works fine.
