“Do you need both cars keys? Meaning with installation, 1 key within the car and the other with you?”

• I asked the tech that installed mine that same question and he said yes, both keys are necessary. Check on your particular vehicle though because he says not every vechile works the same way. I have a 2016 Mazda 6 for reference.

• Are you asking if u need one of the two included remotes in the car, and one on you (while u also have your OEM remote?) or are u asking do u need one of these fobs AND your OEM?
