• A:Answer No, it is lock/unlock and remote start. I think there is a module you can add to this system for the alarm.

• A:Answer You would have 2 key fobs. I have a Toyota Highlander that does the same things. I purchased this remote starter and have 2 key fobs. With my Toyota, the remote starters starts the car and keeps the car running, until I open the car door. It's a security feature that prevents the car from being stolen. The Toyota key fob is required to restart the car so I can drive off.

• A:Answer Your factory fob unfortunately is your key. This will remote start it to get your vehicle going, but before applying your foot to the brake you'll have to be in possession of your original key fob.
