“I am getting the computer system installed in my 2015 Subaru Legacy. I was wondering if the door handle lock and unlock buttons will work with this key fob. Also wondering if the push button start will work without needing to carry the factory key fob.”

You'll still need your original key fob with you at all times. It does not replace your key.
