“Would the original one way fob that comes with the remote start kit continue to function once i upgrade to the 2way w/ LTE module? That kit only came with one and id like to have a 2 way and 1 way for backup”

Yes. It would just be a spare remote, the new remote will have more functions. Honestly when you move to lte youpll find yourself using the keyfobs less than expected.
