It depends upon the duration you generate the steam for. You can do few pieces before refilling.

Hello Coral! After approximately 15 minutes of steaming you'll need to refill.

A full tank of water gets me about two shirts. Depends on how wrinkled they are.

To steam cotton fabrics, I use one full bottle. For other fabrics, one bottle for almost 4 to 5 pieces. It depends on how you want the clothes straight and how many times you have to steam to get them straight.
