Only if it is the newly packaged LGA 1700 box. It has additional hardware. The original box kit will be missing this and unless you want to screw it in at an angle and cross thread or independently buy the 1700 kit for 6$ avoid this. The one I received was NOT the 1700 updated box

Yes it is , this Processor comes with bracket kits for in stall on various types of sockets it is practically universal., which is great cause sometimes you wanna upgrade your MB and you wont need another fan as it can me installed on various CPU socket including LGA1200 LGA1700 and even some AMD Sockets

It'll work with the new Intel and AMD CPUs
