• The one bestbuy currently has is NOT the newly updated LGA 1700 packaged box with the correct bracket. It is clearly labeled one the outside of the box if it’s the updated one, the one I received is not compatible and requires purchase of the additional kit separately or just buy from another vendor with the current updated version of this fan.

• Website indicates that yes it supports LGA 1700, I don't have an LGA 1700, but if the website says it does supports it; it does have all the hardware.
