Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You’ll need a new motherboard for this chip. Socket 1200 intel motherboards
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This won’t work on your computer. This needs an LGA1200 motherboard. Unless you are already running a 10th gen Intel CPU this won’t work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your cooling. I have a MSI Coreliquid 240r AIO unit on mine in a Silverstone FT04 case and the case fans turned completely up blowing directly into the radiator, and I still hit +80c at full load in a 74-75' f room. After my experience with a 240mm AIO unit, I feel this CPU needs a 360mm AIO unit or top of the line Air-cooler, along with a case to accommodate whichever is chosen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This processor would require you to upgrade most if not all of your PC. Your motherboard is most likely using an LGA1151 processor socket. This processor is an LGA1200 socket. At a minimum you would need a new motherboard and memory. Since this processor and newer motherboards support NVMe SSDs, I would also say you'd want to add a new boot SSD drive. And since this is an upgraded processor with a higher TDP, you will also need a different CPU cooler.
