• I have the RMx 850 and it works just fine with my 3090 FE.

• https://www.corsair.com/us/en/psu-cable-compatibility#:~:text=Disclaimer%3A%20The%20only%20difference%20between,%2C%20etc)%20are%20the%20same. Really the typ3/4 have no impact to the PCIE power cable to the gpu. It only matters as a difference to the 24pin to the MB.
