The cables are wrapped with the typical Corsair black mesh-style wrap so it's difficult to tell without cutting the mesh away from the connectors or de-pinning them. I can say that the individual cables appear to be the same size as the other cables that shipped with my PSU. I've been using this adapter for several months now and I've attempted to max my pc out and cannot. Even drawing nearly 1,000 W (at the wall) the GPU had all the juice it needed plus reserve. PC: Ryzen 9 5950x, RTX 3090FE, 4x16 GSKILL 3600 CL16, Avermedia LiveGamer 4K, SoundBlaster AE-7, Samsung 970 Pro 1tb, Intel 660p 1tb, 2x870 Evo 1tb (RAID0), 1x870 Evo 4tb, ROG CH8 Dark Hero, Corsair HX1200i, 3xROG XG32VC, 6 ML120 fans, and 2 ML140 fans. The CPU/VRM and GPU are under EK blocks in my custom loop with a D5 pump. As you can see, I have plenty of items drawing power and I've never had any power delivery issues. The resistance of this cable, due to AWG, has never been an issue or concern...cleans up the inside of my case fairly well though. I've even had Metro Exodus or COD Cold War at 7680x1440 *while also* outputing a 4k movie to a 43" 4k TV trying to stress things (GPU specifically) the most I could and power draw didn't slow anything down
