“One reason I bought this case is the full specs said external 2.5" and 3.5" bays. Now that I have the case I don't see them, just cutouts for 2 additional fans in front. Where are the external drives mounted?”

I went to the manufacturer website to check this. Saw that they do not mention any external drives, and all pictures confirmed no access or rails. Called Best Buy customer support, explained this, and returned the case. Have since cross checked all major items for my build with manufacturers to get the right items.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.External means outside of, there are no outside of the case mounts for a harddrive. There are two 2.5" drive mounts on the backside of the motherboard plate. And two 3.5" drive mounts at the front of the base. If it says there are external mounts, it's a typo.
