“is the side panel slide or is there a certain way to open it?”

• Both sides can be removed to install your gear. There are 2 thumb screws you will unscrew and then you can slide it to the back and left it away from the tower.

• Both side panels slide from the back end. Unscrew the holding thumbscrews,but only enough to loosen the connection. They are designed to stay on the panels. Pull the panels toward the rear end and there is ample space to put in drives, CD,DVD or other devices that fit in the self locking slots. Wires supporting the devices can be routed through the right side openings with little ,if any bunching. This keeps the case neat,cleaner and easy to add or remove devices.
