I tried to install the power supply in my daughters Dell 990. The side latch was in the way for the power supply to fit. I bought new case for my new computer build.

They are relatively inexpensive and converting your at case to a arx case might be more work than you want. But if you really want to do it you can remove all of the AT wiring and switches and power button. Then you will just have to buy a open closed circuit button and wire that up to a two ping connector to attach to the i/o connector of the motherboard. Then you will have your tax power button.
