“Does this headset have surround sound , if so will it work straight out the box with my Xbox connected via 3.5mm jack?”

• It does have surround sound. I can't speak for the Xbox but the surround sound worked with my iMac and Android phone just plugged in. So I'm assuming it'd be the same.

• Hi John Paul, No 3.5mm headset would have even simulated surround, unfortunately. The headset would work out of the box with the Xbox but you'd be limited to stereo sound. If you have any other questions please reach out: support.corsair.com
