I was amazed by the quality and feel of these. I've always seen Corsair as a company that prioritizes build quality, and this proves it. They feel amazing, and sound awesome. I did have to mess with my EQ a bit as I am used to having cheap earbuds, but you will not be disappointed once you figure all of that out. The mic isn't the greatest, but it's also a $50 headset, so that shouldn't be very surprising. But it is removable, and there's a rubber piece to cover the plug when the mic is removed. The cable itself is decently long, about 6ft. It also includes a "splitter cable" for anything that has separate input/output jacks. The best part is how comfortable these are. The pads are really soft and they cover your entire ear. They're also great for anyone with glasses, and that was a definite requirement for me. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good quality headset that doesn't cost an insane price.

Great sound and great mic quality! Amazing comfort considering the price. The band is even metal which I never expected at this price point! As an added bonus, it has a removable mic so you can use it as a headset and is compatible with most modern consoles with the included adapter. Only downside (if that is even a downside depending on your system and preferences) is that is comes with the older mic and sound dual cable plugs so no simulated 7.1 audio or anything fancy like that, but does mean it’ll work just fine without Corsair software.

I'm not a gamer. I teach online and I needed headphones with a mic. I also have glasses and the cheapo headphones were painful. These are wonderful. I did have to gently stretch them out a bit to make them fit a little looser. They sound great. The mic is clear. I use these with an iMac and have had zero issues once I figured out how to set them up. I love the simplicity of only having an aux plug and not the USB. I can also use them just to listen to music on my phone. I love that the mic is detachable. Great product. Definitely worth the money!

This is a good basic headset. Sound quality is good and it's pretty comfortable. I do like that it has padding on the top section because not all headsets have that. The vinyl ear cushions are soft enough. My son doesn't have any comfort issues, but my ears are a little bigger so the round earpieces aren't the most comfortable for me and I can't wear them for a long time. An oval earpiece is best for me. This set works on the Xbox with no problems. We have a newer controller so this plugs right into it. I was worried about how much it would drain the controller batteries but it doesn't seem to affect it much. I would recommend this headset if you don't have big ears. ;)

Actually bought these to use for phone calls, web meetings and audio listening during air travel. Great audio quality for calls on iPhone. Microphone has less background noise pick up than standard ear buds with Bluetooth or in line mic. Comfortable for hours on end use. ( I am on calls web meetings 8 hours a day) . Also great ambient noise insulating, with one of the best stereo separation signals I have heard in a headset / headphone, for listening to music. My ears are getting up there but freq response when I ran an oscillator thru them solid response across the spectrum from 22hz up to 14kHz ( again my ears are shot any higher than that) Highly recommend

Very happy with my decision to purchase these headphones. They are comfortable, sound quality is good, materials used in construction are sturdy, and the price was very reasonable compared to other similar headsets.

Corsair HS 50-This is the best most affordable headset you can buy. Other versions are wireless but require a USB. Depending on your devices USB can be a hit or miss with wireless headsets. This headset works with any device because of the 3.5 mm connection. Very sturdy and durable. If you game /stream/talk a lot make sure to get extended warranty. Pressing them you make button over and over and has somewhere and tear. Course their customer service is very good. But sometimes you get a rep isn’t fully trained.

I bought these headphones for about a year now and the sound quality is still perfect they never break also it has a deattachable microphone

I bought these as a less-expensive option for playing D&D through Hangouts, and they've been working great! The mic is clear, and I can hear everyone else better than through earbuds. Also, these are comfortable - I often have to adjust earbuds after an hour, but these are comfortable for 4-hour+ sessions.

The headset overall is a great product, especially for $50. The reason why I rated this headset 4-stars instead of 5-stars are because my ears are fairly big, thus making the headset hard to fit properly. Sound is good enough for people making FPS and other genres. From what my friends tell me, the microphone is good, but nothing fantastic.

They are surprisingly much higher quality then I expected them to be. They are comfortable around the ears and the fact that they are universal for gaming consoles is a plus. Especially a nice the mic is adjustable and even removable is what really sold it for me.

I bought this headset for my son. He's 11 and loves to play Fortnite, Star Wars Battlefront II, etc. and he loves it. He communicates with his friends while playing and the headset plugs right into his controller. All of the sound for the game goes through the headset, so no more distracting explosions or sound effects (I kind of miss them as a dad). The instruction manual was non-existent, but the sound is great and the headset is sturdy and well-built.

Sound quality is great. Feels like I’m in the game. When in calls with friends I’m always asked what mic I use because it comes In so clear. I can proudly say It’s a Corsair headset. Very comfortable and lightweight as well

I love this head set it dosent feel like cheap plastic the cord is long so you dont have it yank and not too long were you be steping on it the soundis clean and and the mic is removable so i can use it for the gym and not look like a dork

This item works really well on all my electronic devices and has shown to be very durable over time of use, an overall good headset and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for decently priced yet good headphones

I like these budget but quality pc headset/mic for casual gaming. I play casual competitive for a couple of hours and this headset does the job. I just wish it was a usb connector but seems reading the reviews , these 3.5 mm splitter are also reliable.
