“I was in a ps4 chat and for some reason i had to be very close up to my mic in order for people to hear me but on pc they were able to hear me. Do you how to fix this and why it happened?”

• The output of a mic is dependent on what the hardware tells it to put out and can be vastly different depending on the settings of the device. From the PS4 Home Screen, Scroll up to access the Home menu. Select [Settings]=> [Devices]=> [Audio Devices]=> [Microphone Level] You will now be able to see the Input Volume being given by your headset, adjust the Microphone Level bar to the desired setting. Scroll to OK and Press the X button.
