Is this headset noise cancelling null

Yes they are. I can have them on and talking on the phone and my wife can run the vacuum and the person on the other end does not hear it. Pretty impressive really.

No I can hear around me with the headphones on, but I prefer that.

Hello, None of our headsets have Active Noise Cancelling at this time if that's what you're referring to, but it's also never been a complaint as they're pretty shielded from outside noise (Passive Noise Cancelling).
