Yeah sure you can remove it with a rag or something but I wouldn’t recommend that, thermal pad will likely go on better and thus perform better.

Unsure of the paste it comes with, but yes removable. use an alcohol pad to wipe it off, and it will come off cleanly.

Hi, Every thermal paste is removable, I'm not certain on the factory-applied paste but it performs very well and you shouldn't even need to purchase XTM50. If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art

Yes paste is removable easy to take off n replace if needed. But I hear the paste is just fine

The thermal paste is removalable. I use Arcticlean. I then use MX-4 non-conductive thermal grease
