Would this be worth getting if i only have an i5 7400? also i got my pc prebuilt, the mobo is a ipm17-002 (might be dd2 i’m not sure). does anyone know if this would be compatible and what plug ins i need? null

Hi,

As of right now, if you're not having any cooling problems then I'd keep the standard cooling. However, the cooler should work without issues as a cooler itself, although proprietary systems will sometimes not play well together with RGB.

It's not worth it to get a large AIO water cooler for an older non-overclockable part like the i5-7400. It would not benefit from the cooling in any way.
