There are a few diffences between the 4000x and the 5000x. The biggest is the size. 4000x is 18.3 x 9.06 x 17.8 inches and the 5000x is 20.5 x 9.6 x 20.5. The larger size allows for more fans. The 4000x has TWO(2) tempered glass panels, one on the front and one on the left side. The 5000x has FOUR(4) tempered glass panels, one on the front, ine on the left side, one in the right side and one on top.
