It should handle a 5950x easily as long as you are not hardcore overclocking. The 5800x actually runs hotter than the 5950x and I'm sitting around 70°c min under heavy loads and gaming!

You can also customize the cooling settings via iCUE. There are cooling presets provided, but you can create your own cooling profile which customizes the RPM for the pump and fans.
