“Would the LGA 115X/1200 standoffs work until my LGA 1700 Retrofit kit arrives? I know its not the same exact height and i would be assuming all the risk if something goes wrong.”

• Hi Tom, This isn't recommended as the height won't be proper for the new CPUs. We would only recommend using the LGA1700 standoffs from the Retrofit kit. -Brian

• with the amount of sheer power and heat that comes off of the new 12th gen processors, i would not risk using a different standoff for this cooler. i would play it safe and wait for the retrofit if i were you.
