The lighting node core only does the lighting for up to 6 fans. The fans themselves are 3pin DC fans that plug into standard motherboards or other fan hubs. The RGB is a separate cable off the fan, so no splitting needed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Allows RGB customization, but no fan speed control. Doesn't come with a splitter. The only thing that plugs into the lightning node core is the rgb cables, the fan power will still need to be plugged into the motherboard. I will say, the lightning node is helpful. You plug it into your powersupply as opposed to plugging it into the JRGB on your motherboard. A great product, just a little expensive.
