• You control the rgb by using the Corsair ICue software. The fans connect to the lighting node core which connects to your motherboards usb header. It had everything I needed in the box

• Depends on how you hook it up. If you have rgb on your mother board you can do it through that. If not then you need an rgb controller. There is a fan kit with an rgb controller. I run these fans and the h150i cooler so I got a Corsair rgb controller to have it all in Corsair icue software in windows. But it is not needed if you have rbg on the mother board. Verify how many Rgb ports your motherboard has if it has any. May need an rbg hub if you want to connect all 3 on the same rgb port. I hope this was helpful.
