No sata is needed the connections are the 2.0 usb on mobo to connect Commander pro and avail fan 4 pin on mobo per fan. If you dont have avail fan power connectors you may want to check for a CPU Fan HUB Cooling Splitter Adapter. Picture included below. Just make sure your PSU can support the extra voltage.

No it doesn’t come with a sata cable. Fans only. I don’t see why you would need one unless if you’re running a fan controller. Or an rgb controller. But both of those items should have a sata cable. These can connect direct to the mother board and controlled via bios. Or you can get a fan controller and control it from windows. If your mother board doesn’t have o/s sw. If you’re unsure I recommend getting a fan controller.
