It's considered loud but not TOO loud. You can easily add o-rings to dampen sound if it was too loud. Would recommend listening to sound tests on YouTube reviews to be sure if the sound will work for you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sensitivity to sound depends on the person. There is a definite key "clack." I like the key action. Solid. Generally the only person who hears the "clack" is me and I am nothing bothered by it at all. But I grew up in the era of real typewriters.

I suggest checking whether your local Best Buy has this keyboard on display, so you may experience them in person. Otherwise, videos with audio testing would be worth looking at.
