• My kid already hooked up to his laptop while waiting for the other components we are gonna build a system with. Hook it up thru USB directly or a hub as he did, ya it'll work.

• Yes, it is compatible with any device running Windows that has a USB port. I sometimes use mine with a laptop when at work.
