I was able to purchase the protection plan with this keyboard. I have the cherry speed switches.

Corsair bumped this warranty to 2 years, because they have had issues with the lights on this board. The function of the board is good, but they had issues with some lighting. My microcenter has literally 30 if these "refurbished". In guessing best buy wont let the 2 year be bought because there is no way this will last 4 years
