“Just bought CORSAIR - iCUE 4000D RGB AIRFLOW ATX Mid-Tower Case - Black Model:CC-9011240-WW, it has both hubs already in for up to 6 fans. Would I still need to install either hub in order to run the additional 3 fans.”

• You'd want to have have one hub for RBG and one hub for fans exclusively. Or you run into issues with Corssair software, it's very bad at integration and fights programs overriding it which may cause your computer to crash.
