I bought two of these as gifts. the DPI listed above 12,400 dpi. I have two cosair peripherals The ICUE drivers for their peripherals are amazing. You cannot adjust the dpi that is a function of the hardware. The mouse software has the ability to adjust the mouse characteristics. Without knowing more that is all I can give you. The two people I gave these to, rave about them
