“I'm just a bit confused. Does this mousepad charge with a wire. If so, what is the use of the usb port? I'm new to the whole thing.”

I have this mousepad and the Corsair DarkCore RGB Pro SE mouse. I charged the mouse initially off the second port. But when I just tried charging again, the second port wouldn't charge so I had to plug it in directly to the PC. Not sure if it is a limitation. The USB dongle for the mouse is the only other thing I have plugged into the other port. But, yeah it connects to my computer via USB-A to USB-C cable. It isn't wireless.
